This Privacy Policy describes how Simple Counter+ (“App”), developed by TJ Gonzalez, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Local data (stays on your device)

The App stores the following only on your device:

• Counters you create (names, counts, increment/decrement amounts)
• Display and hardware settings (theme, vibration, volume keys, keep-screen-on, ads-removed flag)

CSV/TXT import and export files are written only where you choose with the system file picker. We do not upload those files. Uninstalling the App deletes this local data.

2. Optional feedback (Firebase Firestore)

If you submit in-app feedback, we send to Google Firebase Firestore:

• Name
• Message
• Optional email (only if you ask to be contacted)
• App identifier, device brand, device model, and OS version

Feedback is not sent unless you tap Submit. There is no account or login.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free App shows banner ads via Google AdMob (google_mobile_ads). Google and its partners may collect advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), device and app data, and approximate location as described in Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob policies, to serve, measure, and personalize ads.

You can hide ads in this App with the one-time in-app purchase remove_ads.

4. Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The optional one-time product remove_ads is processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles payment details. We receive purchase status so the App can hide ads and restore purchases on this Google account. We do not process card payments ourselves.

5. How we use information

• Operate counters and settings on your device
• Show ads that support the free App, unless you purchased remove_ads
• Process and restore the remove_ads purchase
• Read and reply to optional feedback you send
• Comply with law and store policies

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed with:

• Google AdMob / Google advertising partners, for ads
• Google Play, for billing and restore of remove_ads
• Google Firebase (Firestore), for optional feedback submissions
• Authorities when required by law

7. Your choices and data deletion

• Local counters and settings: delete them in the App, or uninstall the App to clear local data.
• Feedback in Firestore: email android@tjgonzalez.dev and ask us to delete it. Include the name or email you used if you can, so we can find the record.
• Ads: use device / Google Ads settings, or purchase remove_ads to hide banners in this App.
• Purchases: manage Google Play orders and refunds in your Google account. Restore purchases from Settings if you reinstall.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Effective Date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
